I create unique, hand-carved memorials, house signs, gravestones, and cremation plaques amongst other things. My attention to detail ensures that each piece is a true work of art, crafted to your specifications. I am based in Somerset and take pride in serving our local community.

I have been working with stone since my late teens. Following a bricklayers apprenticeship I turned my attention to working with natural stone. This foundation led me to experimenting in letter cutting and stone carving. I soon became aware of the unique possibilities surrounding different stone types, their textures, structures, smells and personalities. I was very fortunate to be introduced to Robyn Golden-Hann who had been taught by the famous Kindersley family from Cambridge. This meeting with Robyn has proved pivotal in my development as a stone carver and letter cutter. Robyn took me back to basics and invested a great deal of time in teaching me while still enabling me to advance in my own creative style. I continue to work from Robyn's old studio near Andover and also my home in Somerset.
